Dr. Krish Dinesh

FRACGP, MRCGP (UK), Diploma in Practical Dermatology (Cardiff), Master of Dermoscopy and Preventative Dermato-Oncology (Austria), Evidence Based Hair Fellowship

Your skin is the largest organ of the human body, coming into contact with the rest of the world every day. Most people don’t realise that it is also a reflection of our overall health. Krish strongly believes that a well-informed patient is more likely to practice good sun protection measures, able to pick up warning signs of early skin cancers and this will lead to healthier skin in the long term. To achieve this, Krish spends time educating patients about the importance of skin self-examinations, advising them about signs and symptoms of early skin cancers and ways to reduce sun damage. He also treats other non-cancerous skin conditions and sun damaged skin during the skin examination.

Krish spent time at the New York based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre under renowned American dermatologist Dr Ash Marghoob and learnt about advanced dermoscopic techniques and best practices in the management of skin cancers and general dermatological problems. He completed his Master of Dermoscopy thesis under the supervision of European dermatologist Prof. Rainer Hofmann-Wellenhof, Professor of Dermatology at Graz University, Austria.

When training in the UK, he completed the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology with a distinction. He has since completed the Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy, Advanced Certificate in skin cancer medicine and surgery and is currently pursuing the Master of Dermoscopy and Preventive Dermato-Oncology at the prestigious Graz University in Austria.

Krish is a member of the International Dermoscopy Society and Skin Cancer College Australasia. He updates himself on the most recent advances in Dermatology and Skin cancer medicine by attending conferences all over the world, the most recent being the World Congress of Dermoscopy in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Krish’s areas of interest are using dermoscopy in the early diagnosis of difficult skin cancers and other dermatological conditions, utilizing artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of micro melanomas and educating patients about daily skin care routines for healthy skin.
